Designers Jeroen Seré and Claudia Dondossola combined Italian and Belgian culture to create their detailed technological linear pieces displayed at the Salone del Mobile Fair. Awarded with the MookumMurse Challenge” and the YoutoolCurti lamiere”in 2012, their ‘local project’ hit the 2013 FuoriSalone in Ventura Lambrate area thanks to the collaboration with Slowd.
The core of the project is SD/poltroncina, an armchair characterized by geometrical lines and refined materials presented for the first time during Interieur 2012 in Kortrijk, The Netherlands. Its frame work is made of dark brown oak to emphasize the quality of handicraft which is the goal of Slowd.

Seré/Dondossola joined Slowd’s project to offer a sustainable alternative to the mass production. Since 2011 Slowd has been helping young talented designers to produce their own furniture pieces which are sold directly to the buyers without mediators. Along the above-mentioned armchair, for sale since June, there’s also Octa lamp, a prototype whose appearance changes based on the user’s point of view. At first, its structure seems quite basic yet it presents a complex play of oppositions such as fullness v emptiness, as well as LED light stripes and a light on black anodized aluminium and white lexan. The duo also presented SD/Tavolino, Terracotte and SD/espresso, a futuristic vending machine.
