The curtains on the seventh edition of MADE expo, the quality platform dedicated to firms, architects, designers and construction professionals looking for new business opportunities, closed on Saturday. Hosted within Fiera Milano Rho and divided into four themes, the event made enterprises be its core, with a specific focus on three lines of action: biennality, specialization, internationality. MADE expo proved to be more than a fair, with four days also dedicated to professional continuing education, business and innovation, making the city of Milan the starting point for the recovery of the field.
The figures of the 2015 edition of the event – which takes place every two years since 2013 – speak for themselves: over 208.000 visitors, 65.000 sold square meters, more than 1.100 meetings. 1.450 firms attended MADE expo, including 279 foreign enterprises, proving the international side of the event. Internationality was also a strong feature of the public, with over 36.000 foreign operators coming from all over the world. Fiera Milano Rho turned into the stage for business meeting but also education, thanks to the collaboration of 13 world famous architecture studios which helped creating Building the Expo, the most successful happening of the fair. The Build Smart! areas, dedicated to the crucial subjects of innovation and sustainability, also reported an amazing attendance with as many as 9.000 professionals eager to learn the latest news from the field.
An impeccable event whose success was also the outcome of the strong investments from the companies that put effort into the creation of quality stands and an innovative product offer. MADE expo was not just about professionals though: on the last day, the fair was open to public, welcoming thousands of visitors to its eminent showroom where to admire the latest news in terms of renovations and modernization.
