Starting on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile Fair, Milan’s design week will be the chance to discover the latest news of the field by both renowned and much creative designers. Among the design events that will liven up Milan for over 7 days within the so called Fuorisalone, there’s one you cannot miss. That is , the project promoted by Assodel and LedLab in collaboration with TID, hosted within the Ventura-Lambrate district which has been recently becoming the new stage for design, especially on these occasions.
L.E.D. – Lighting Experience Design will be an exhibition path where to take a look at the latest news in terms of lighting by admiring installations and new projects. One of these will be Archè, the floor lamp by architect Simone Cappellanti.

Solid and bold, yet refined and slender, Archè features a structure divided into three elements which can be articulated with valves in the intersection point. The upper edge features a LED panel that serves as the illuminating body whilst on the lower end you find an iron covered base: because of their square shape, the two edges look alike, creating a formal equilibrium.
Arche’s design looks back to the Seventies style by adding a contemporary feature: sustainability, which can be found both in the employment of a LED light and in the material that covers up the whole body of the design item, that is bamboo wood. In this way the lamp results to be naturally and neutrally colored, yet enriched by another personal touch by Cappellanti: a green filament that crosses all the lamp contour, making Archè unique.
